The National Association for Olmsted Parks
The National Association for Olmsted Parks (NAOP) was organized in 1980 to help preserve the landscape work of Fredrick Law Olmsted Sr. and the firm established by his sons, Olmsted Brothers Landscape Architects. Through conferences and publications, the Association provides information and support to those involved with the preservation of historic parks and landscapes.
The Olmsted Linear Park Alliance is a member of NAOP, and OLPA board member Alida Silverman serves on its board of trustees. Two other OLPA directors, Tally Sweat and Sally Harbaugh, are former trustees.
