Volunteers help keep our parks looking
good in many ways. Some people take a bag with them when
they walk through the park and pick up trash. Others see
limbs down in the park and carry them to South Ponce where
the city or county can pick them up. Some people volunteer
to water during times of extreme drought. We also have a
work day in the spring and fall where we get together and
spread mulch, trim bushes, and do a thorough clean up of the
parks. Even if you have little or no gardening experience,
you can help beautify and protect the parks. If you have any
questions about volunteering, please contact our
Administrator, George Ickes, at 404-723-3118.
