About the event
Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. in service to our community park - Olmsted Linear Park.
Bring your friends and family for this educational woodland restoration effort in the Deepdene Forest. Volunteers will remove invasive plants while learning about why native species are vital to forest health, and our strategy for creating a healthier ecosystem for birds and other wildlife.
Please wear closed-toe shoes, wear appropriate clothing for working in the forest, bring water. We will provide gloves and snacks.
Meet at Eastern Mead in Deepdene Park.
